Alexis McLean leaves Gabrielles Wish

Alexis McLean has left Gabrielles Wish to pursue her solo career.
She has left the group on great terms and we wish her every success with her future projects.

Gabrielles Wish have a new member on guitar, keyboards and vocals.
Alexis McLean, who also has a solo project, has become a full time member of the band and recenty played Kendal Calling as well as a show in St Helens.
Alexis features heavily on the new album which is due out at the end of September.
The picture below is taken from the new gallery of the secret gig at Butterfly Music in Manchester (July 26th) which saw her debut.

Kevin Clark joins Gabrielles Wish

Kevin Clark
has joined Gabrielles Wish on drums, officially taking
over from renowned sticksman Bo Walsh.

Kevin has been working as a session drummer and solo
artist, as well as being a sound engineer.
He will feature on the bands next album release and subsequent
tour.

Here's the Gabrielles Wish official newsletter. Only news from the band. It's not a discussion group, it's not a forum. No advertising. To subscribe you need a Google account.
Facebook had made increasingly difficult, and now impossible, to reach all the subscribers to a page or a group to notify them about news or events, the Facebook group is now completely useless and it will be deleted. Only the official page will remain.

Facebook has recently disabled the post of messages to all pages members. This makes necessary the Gabrielles Wish news group as a mean to spread news.
Through the group settings you can choose whether to receive notifications, via E Mail as well, when news are published here. Also we'll be able to send you messages through events.
To keep the group at hand bring the cursor at the left of the icon of "Gabrielles Wish news" on the Facebook left menu (while visiting the group), click on the pencil which appears and then "Add to favorites".
The central place on Facebook remains the Gabrielles Wish official page, with wall, dates, blog, audio, video and pics.

New Facebook page

Gabrielles Wish have a brand new official Facebook page, which integrates content from ReverbNation like streaming audio and video, dates, together with the Facebook wall and news feed from this site.
More content will be added soon.

Gabrielles Wish on SoundCloud

Gabrielles Wish have a new profile on SoundCloud with some streaming tracks (also included in playlists called "Sets") you can comment, favourite, share and embed everywhere.
An example is the Processed sampler embedded at the top of the right column.
When possible, tracks have a link straight to the place where you can buy the track or the release.

Steven Bunn to replace Tim Walsh

Tim Walsh has been forced to leave Gabrielles Wish because of work commitments. New guitarist Steven Bunn has joined and is already rehearsing with the band.

Paul Ryan remains as occasional member, Tim Walsh joins!

Gabrielles Wish guitarist and founder member Paul Ryan has moved to Carlisle because of work commitments. The relevant distance to Manchester doesn't allow him to keep on a continuous involvement with the band, especially for the live activity.
But this doesn't mean he's leaving the band, Paul will stay as an occasional member, trying to be present as much as he can. There will be more collaboration from Paul for the next album
Tim Walsh, brother of drummer Bo and former guitarist in Factory band Northside joins Gabrielles Wish as a new guitarist.
Tim is the first from left in the Northside picture here on the right, taken from Cerysmatic Factory.
Karen Leatham, who has joined one year ago as keyboardist and second bassist, will also play the guitar.

Karen Leatham, former bassist in Wonky Alice (band featuring also former Gabrielles Wish producer Yves Altana) and The Fall has joined Gabrielles Wish as keyboardist and second bassist.
She says 'I am honoured to be playing in one of my favourite bands, when driving to practise I feel like I can't wait to get playing.'

Marie Luce Giordani R.I.P.

Gabrielles Wish would like to express their sadness at the death of Marie Luce Giordani, who died of cancer aged 38 on May 16th.
Marie Luce was a photographer from Corsica who came to Manchester and worked for the City Life Magazine and the Manchester Evening News GO Magazine. 
She was a friend to the band and took many of the early photographs of the band, like the one on the right. She will be missed by us all.

Gabrielles Wish reform!

Gabrielles Wish after a year out from making music have reformed with plans for touring and making a new album. 
The band have been rehearsing at Butterfly Music with former drummer Bo Walsh.
