Processed, produced by Chris Nagle (Martin Hannett's sound engineer) was meant to follow the first two EPs and the live tape Live And Bobbins, released on Manchester Records, the label of New Order's manager Rob Gretton. An initial delay in the release became a decade when Rob Gretton died in 1999 and the label transformed into Pleasure Records and tried to venture in the electronica field (as can be heard on Manchester Suite) before dissolving. Now with Tunetribe Gabrielles Wish finally have the chance to make available an amazing collection of songs, as hard, dark and powerful as anything on the first EPs, produced by Nagle as well. Gabrielles Wish after a year out from making music have reformed with plans for touring and making a new album. The band have been rehearsing at Butterfly Music with former drummer Bo Walsh. : Gabrielles Wish would like to express their sadness at the death of Marie Luce Giordani, who died of cancer aged 38 on May 16th. Marie Luce was a photographer from Corsica who came to Manchester and worked for the City Life Magazine and the Manchester Evening News GO Magazine. She was a friend to the band and took many of the early photographs of the band. She will be missed by us all. :: 01 May 2004 : A memorial night for Rob Gretton (who died five years ago), the Joy Division and New Order manager, and founder of Manchester Records, the former label of Gabrielles Wish, will take place on May 23 (starting at 7.30 PM) at the Ritz in Manchester. All proceeds will go to charities. They should play live in January or February. : Former drummer Phil 'Consi' Considine is still a member of Tsuji Giri. : Former drummer Bo Walsh (Portal) is a member of Nylon Pylon and is working also with My Computer. : First drummer Nick Harris now plays in Hedzjellmo. : Availability of records: Butterfly Music in Oldham Street in Manchester may still have a few copies of the EPs Gabrielle's Wish, Golded Up, Manchester Suite and Cost One.
